about

What do you call a creature that’s half Scorpio and half Sagittarius? A Scorpiotarius? A Sagittorpio? Well, whatever it’s called, that’s what you’re getting with Dbl R Luv. It’s a svelte double banger release from two of DC’s electronic music powerhouses, Outputmessage and Baronhawk Poitier, who bring their full cosmic energy into the task of remixing 2018’s “Our Love”.

Baronhawk, who released his exuberant debut Temperado Tornado on Honey Soundsystem in 2020, flips the vocal for an entrancing and undeniably groovy take on the original that’s instant fire from the start.

Next up is Outputmessage, who taps into the chart topping EDM style from his days as a member of Volta Bureau to deliver a cheery, neon-bright house classic that comes just in time to light up reopened dance floors this Summer.

100% of sales of Baronhawk’s remix will go to Casa Ruby who provide support for LGBTQ people in DC, providing a place to sleep, food, housing, HIV Prevention & Latinx Services.

100% of sales of Bernard’s remix will go to SMYAL who work with queer & trans youth (6-24 y/o) in the DMV area to empower themselves and their community.

If you buy the whole release, 50% will go to Casa Ruby and 50% will go to SMYAL. Double your love!
